SUSTAINABILITY - ESG AT DOR

We believe in values of environmental sustainability and human prosperity.

Our vision is to energize a greener world, and we are dedicated to realizing this vision while at the same time reducing our own footprint and ensuring the safety, health, wellbeing, and prosperity of our people, our customers, our suppliers, and the local community in Israel alongside whom we have grown and thrived since our inception in the 1960’s.

We are committed to do our part to help Israel and the world achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and we embrace global efforts to mitigate climate change, and the need, as a global society, to address its impact by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with the Paris Agreement (2015) and lowering the combined carbon footprint to reach net zero.

We are a member of the Responsible Care Initiative, and we are also proud to be part of the United Nations Global Compact and we adhere to its 10 principles.

Please see below the latest highlights from our environmental, social, and governance journey, as well as a list of the publications, policies, and other documents that are relevant to these topics.

Dor Chemicals adopted the United Nation Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as part of its commitment to promote gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace and beyond. We, Dor Chemicals LTD., recognize the industry-wide challenges in achieving equality in gender representation, and we continually strive to encourage women to join our company. We have 29% of women among our top leadership, a percentage that is equal to the overall percentage of women in our company. Men and women receive equal pay, with a slightly higher average for women within comparable groups, including non-managerial roles, low-mid level management, and vice president positions. However, due to a limited representation of both genders in identical roles, we are considering the implementation of a salary benchmarking initiative. This aims to establish industry-accepted salary standards for specific positions, ensuring equitable compensation regardless of gender.  More info. >
